Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role is essential in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and safely while maintaining high productivity levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment to transport products within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are correctly selected for shipment.
• Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment processes.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance.
• Experience with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
• Basic math skills are essential for inventory management and order accuracy.
