Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, fabrication, and blueprint reading. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials, primarily focusing on ductwork and other components. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.

Duties

• Perform TIG welding on various metals and materials, ensuring precision and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
• Utilize machining tools and plasma cutting equipment as needed for project requirements.
• Fabricate and build ductwork systems according to specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of welds to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate forklifts for the movement of materials and finished products within the facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tig Welder with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding.
• Familiarity with machining processes and plasma cutting is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Experience in fabricating and building ductwork is a plus.
• Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
