We are seeking a skilled and dedicated STICK Welder to join our team in Canada. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in welding and will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to ensure high-quality and precise work. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform STICK welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) on various metal structures and components.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct any defects or issues.
Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.
Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required Skills

Proficiency in STICK welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions (standing, crouching, etc.).
Basic knowledge of metallurgy and welding properties of different metals.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in STICK welding or a related field.
