MIG, TIG, and Stick Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG, TIG, and Stick Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding various metals and alloys using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. The welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals and alloys, including but not limited to steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding machines and equipment based on job specifications and requirements.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cwb certification in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
